    I recently brought my VW Cross Sport in for its annual service at VW Autonation on 10/18. Despite informing the service manager that I had not been charged for tire rotation during previous services (as it was included in the 10K mile annual service), the attendant insisted on charging me $40 for the tire rotation. I asked him to confirm whether this charge could be waived before proceeding, but he failed to do so. Had I known, I would have asked my brother-in-law, a service technician at Midas, to handle the tire rotation for free. The poor communication, lack of customer service, and failure to listen to my request from the start were disappointing. I also explained to the attendant that when I previously owned a 2020 Tiguan, the annual service always included tire rotation at no extra cost. Additionally, I own an Audi Q7, and during its recent annual service, the tire rotation was included at no additional charge. The $40 charge was unacceptable, and I was very dissatisfied with the approach taken by both the attendant and the service manager. Very unsatisfactory service.
